Although the company name may not be familiar to most customers from outside Portugal, Guerin is a solid car hire company with a good reputation. The cars are new or semi new up to about 4 years old and generally well maintained by the Caetano car authorized repair shops.
In high season or if there are few rental cars available in a certain area or town, it may be quite expensive to be a ‘walk in’ customer at Guerin.
